Need a mobile responsive website?
Responsive Web Development
A Responsive Website is one that responds to the device that a user is interfacing a website with and behaves accordingly. In other words a website that will render and work flawlessly on a phone, tablet, or desktop. Unbeknownst to the average computer user is the startling fact that mobile web viewing eclipsed desktop & laptop use for the first time this year (2015). This trend is not going away anytime soon. In fact, if this trend continues as it has for the previous 7 years, mobile will continue to grow approximately 10% with each consecutive year. Google has responded to this trend by tailoring it’s Search Engine Results to suit the user. If a query is performed on a mobile device google will only show that user websites that are made to be “responsive” or mobile friendly. In other words if your site is not fully responsive and mobile friendly, it will only be available under 50% of all searches made and that is not good for anyone’s business.
Call to Action
To Click or not to Click, that is the question that computer users are asking themselves. We want clicks, and many of them; in rapid succession, if possible. You are probably asking yourself, how to get those golden clicks? Nothing helps to turn an impression into a conversion more than a crystal clear Call To Action (CTA). A CTA can take many forms and wear many guises. A typical CTA is buying a product or signing up for a newsletter. A good website is geared towards steering a user to the Call To Action and converting them. Imagine a website as a funnel and the spout is the conversion of the user which takes place when the user performs the CTA.
First Impressions
Analysis has shown that the average web user judges a website in 5 one hundreths of a second. That is 0.05 seconds in which the average user detrmines if they will stay or go to another site. There are many factors that shape the user’s initial impression and they are of the utmost importance. Having a relatively simple layout which is familiar to the user is important to making the user feel comfortable and at home.
